Gorgeous solid bronze antique replica of a rare St. Michael the Archangel medallion that was made in France and signed by artists Penin & Poncet. Saint Michael the Archangel is a powerful spiritual warrior, intercessor, and protector against the forces of Satan.
The front has the Latin text "S. Michael Archang O.P.N." (Ora Pro Nobis meaning Pray for Us). The image of Mont St Michel is on the reverse with the text "Souvenir du Mont St Michel". Mont St Michel is an island in France with a sanctuary devoted to St Michel. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share this replica with you at a reasonable price. I have a great devotion to St Michael with a special wonderful collection of St Michael medallions.
The Prayer to St Michael (shown in photos) is included in the gift box.
This medallion is a bit under 3/4" and is available by itself (with a ring), or on a a 2x3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation process resists tarnishing by air.
