Absolutely gorgeous shiny gold, antique replica, of a very special and rare St Michael medallion signed both front and back by French artist Louis Tricard. Around the border has "Sancte Michael Ora Pro Nobis" which means "Saint Michael Pray for Us" in Latin.
This is a replica of a highly collectible, circa 1900, medallion signed by Louis-Victor Tricard, a renowned French engraver and medallist. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share this replia with you at a reasonable price.
The medal is approximately 5/8 inch round. The Prayer to Saint Michael, shown in photos, is included in the gift box. Saint Michael the Archangel is a powerful spiritual warrior, intercessor, and protector against the forces of Satan.
This piece is available in several shiny gold options. In general, the 14 and 10 karat gold is shinier in person than the gold bronze, but these are all very similar in color. The gold bronze (which is a yellow form of bronze) does need polishing to stay this shiny gold color, more or less depending on wear and care. A polishing cloth is included with the gold bronze pieces. All of these pieces are solid (not plated) with the same color throughout.
1) Solid 14 karat gold with a solid 14 karat hallmarked ring.
2) Solid 10 karat gold with a solid 10 karat hallmarked ring.
3) Solid gold bronze with a gold-filled oval jump ring. (Gold bronze is a yellow form of bronze, not karat gold).
4) Solid gold bronze with a stiff gold bronze bail. (Gold bronze is a yellow form of bronze, not karat gold).
These fine antique replicas are cast using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A.
This piece may be purchased as the medallion only (with the ring), on a 2.1 x2.5 mm gold filled chain, or on a 2.5 x 2 mm gold plated chain with a lobster clasp closure. Please message me if you would prefer a different length chain.
