A gorgeous, antique replica, antique gold baroque-style crucifix dangles on this 2x3mm cable chain necklace. Beautiful details enhanced by the antiquing finishing process and the 5 open quatrefoils make this crucifix very special and lightweight. It is stamped "ROME" on the backside and from the Holy See. I am blessed to have this mint condition original in my collection and be able to share with you at a reasonable price.
The crucifix measures 1.75 inches high by 1.13 inches wide. Please contact me if a different length chain is preferred.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. Excessive skin oils may darken the backside of the medal. It is also best to not wear gold bronze in water. A polishing cloth is included so the crucifix can be polished to the original appearance. You would not damage the crucifix by contact with water since it is solid gold bronze (not a plating), but it may darken thus need additional polishing.
