This is a rare and gorgeous, antiqued gold, antique replica of an Art Deco circa 1930 cross from Europe. At the center, the antiquing highlights all of the raised and beautifully sculpted rose details as well as the background delicate engraving. I am blessed to have this mint condition original in my collection and be able to share this replica with you.
This beautiful cross is about 1 and 1/3 inch high (almost 1 and 1/2 inch including the top loop) by almost 3/4 inch wide. You may purchase the cross only (with a ring), or dangling on a 2.5x5mm textured cable chain.
Perfect cross for a dangling cluster necklace. The cross matches the antiqued gold bronze Holy Moments pieces beautifully and hangs nicely. If you are wanting me to assemble a cluster necklace for you, please mention in order comments.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The antiquing (oxidation) finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. Excessive skin oils may darken the backside of the cross. It is also best to not wear gold bronze in water. A polishing cloth is included so the cross can be polished to the original appearance. You would not damage the cross by contact with water since it is solid gold bronze (not a plating), but it may darken and need additional polishing. The “800” stamp on the backside is from the original antique and means that this cross is of continental European origin.
