Silver Pewter Crowned Jesus Medal Pendant Necklace, French Antique Replica, By artist Augis & Mazzoni, Rare Jesus Christ Pendant from France

This is a solid pewter antique replica of a very rare Crowned Jesus medal from France. It is signed by French artists Augis and Mazzoni. I am blessed to have the original, which was a pin, in my collection and be able to share with you. I modified the original piece of art to add the bail. The photographs do not capture the true beauty and depth of this piece of art. The pewter has an antiquing finishing process that highlights the gorgeous details.

The (just under) 1 inch round medal dangles on a brown suede leather cord. The hammered pewter bead makes the length adjustable.
Including the bail, the height of the medal is 1 and 1/8 inch.

This fine replica is cast in solid pewter and made in the U.S.A. This medal looks very similar to the Holy Moments antiqued sterling silver medals, but pewter is a bit lighter weight and less expensive.
