This is a solid pewter, antique replica, of a rare St George medal by the artist Antaya. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share with you. The depth of the medal with the antiquing finishing process is gorgeous!
The medal is available by itself (on the jump ring) or on an adjustable suede leather lace.
Saint George is depicted wearing armor, holding a lance, and fighting a dragon, which represents Christ's enemies.
A gorgeous, unique piece that measures approximately 7/8 inch diameter. This fine replica piece is cast in solid (lead and cadmium free) pewter and antiqued. It is very similar in appearance to the antiqued sterling silver pieces in my shop, but is a bit lighter weight. The sterling stamp on the back is from the original antique-this replica is PEWTER.
For the suede lace option, camel brown 3mm suede leather is adjustable up to 26 inches long. The hammered pewter slider bead allows the leather to be worn as a shorter length. If you would prefer a longer leather lace, please let me know.
