Wonderful and unusual solid sterling silver antique replica of a very rare small St. Patrick medal. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share this replica with you. A gorgeous piece signed by Ferdinand Py, a French modernist style artist.
This piece is a bit smaller than a dime and measures almost 5/8 inch in diameter.
The front of the medal has Sanctus Patricius (Latin for Saint Patrick) along with symbols of St Patrick such as his Trinity Shamrock.
The prayer card shown in photos is included in the gift box.
This medallion is available on a ring or dangling on a 1.3mm oxidized sterling silver cable chain. Please contact me if you would prefer a different style chain.
This fine replica piece is cast in .925 sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation (antiquing) process eliminates the need to polish this piece. This medal is not stamped 925 or sterling because it is identical to the original antique. It will test as .925 sterling silver.
