Gorgeous sterling silver antique replica wavy diamond-shaped Holy Eucharist medal dangles on this 1.2mm oxidized sterling silver spiga chain necklace. This is an antique replica of a rare Art Nouveau Communion medal from France. I am blessed to have this mint condition original in my collection and be able to share it with you. The diamond has a plain backside.
The medallion is like a 3/4 inch square turned on a point. From point to point, it measures just under 1 inch. The antiquing finish on this piece highlights the beautiful detailed raised areas.
This fine replica is cast in solid .925 sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from the air. This will test as sterling silver. It does not have "925" or "sterling" stamped on the back because it is identical to the antique original piece.
