Medal Only or Medal on Sterling Silver Chain
Gorgeous and meaningful sterling silver, antique replica, of a very special Latin Blessing of Saint Francis of Assisi medallion from France.

The St Francis Blessing card in photos is included in the gift box. This card has both the English translation of the blessing and the Latin version on the medal. "May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He show His face to you and have mercy on you. May He turn His face to you and give you peace. May the Lord bless you." The original Latin on the back of the medal is "Benedicat tibi dominus et custodiat te ostendat faciem suam tibi et misereatur tui convertat vultum suum ad te et det tibi pacem dominus benedicat te". I am blessed to have this mint condition original in my collection and be able to share it with you at a reasonable price.

The medal is between 5/8 and 3/4 inch round and dangles on a 1.2mm oxidized sterling silver spiga chain necklace.

This fine replica piece is cast in solid .925 sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation (antiquing) finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with the air and allows the beautiful details to be more visible. This does not have a .925 or sterling stamp because it is identical to the original antique. This medallion will test as .925 sterling silver.

Thank you for visiting my Holy Moments Etsy Shop! This has been my personal shopping account on Etsy for years. I recently decided to open an Etsy shop and display a selection of products from my established Holy Moments on-line and show company (HolyMoments.com).

The artisan jewelry and rosaries are unique to Holy Moments. Many pieces are only a few of a kind due to limited availability of certain gemstones or hand cast items. New, exciting products are always being added to both the Etsy shop and company website.

A portion of profits are donated to the Cancer Research Institute in New York, a leader in immunotherapy research. Please read my shop story for more.
