Very pretty antique replica sterling silver Saint Raphael medal dangles on this oxidized 1.2mm sterling silver wheat (spiga) chain necklace. St. Raphael is the Angel of Healing. The back of the medal has the prayer "St. Raphael Preserve us from ill health and all danger to life."
The beautiful sterling silver raised details contrast nicely with the darker oxidized areas.
The medal is 7/8 inch high.
This fine replica is cast in .925 sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The antiquing finishing process makes this piece very low maintenance. This medal is not stamped 925 or sterling because it is identical to the original antique. It will test as .925 sterling silver.
