An absolutely stunning shiny gold antique replica Miraculous Medal from France...one of my favorite pieces! The medal with beautiful depth and detail hangs on a gold chain.
This larger and most unusual French Miraculous Medal is signed by artists JB and PCH (Jean Balme & Chambault). The design on the front in French is "O Marie concue sans peche priez pour nous qui avons recours a vous" which is "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee".
This fine antique replica Miraculous Medal is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. Solid gold bronze does require periodic polishing with a cloth, but will stay shiny gold. A polishing cloth is included.
The medal dangles from a 4x3.5mm gold plated cable chain with a lobster clasp closure. Since this medal has a large bail, the medal can slip on and off the chain. This allows for switching out chains of various lengths, if you would like more than one chain length. Please contact me if you would prefer different length chains.
The medal is 1 and 1/8 inch high (almost 1 and 1/2 inch including the bail) and 1 inch wide.
