Absolutely gorgeous antiqued sterling silver, antique replica, of a highly collectible and rare, circa 1900, Jesus Christ medallion signed by renowned French engraver and medalist Louis Victor Tricard. Around the border has "Christus Salvator" which means "Christ the Savior" in Latin. This medallion is larger and thicker than many of Tricard's pieces. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share this replica with you.
This 1 inch diameter medallion is available as the medallion only (with ring) or dangling on a 1.5mm oxidized sterling silver wheat chain.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid .925 sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. This piece does not have a 925 or sterling stamp because it is identical to the original antique piece, but will test as sterling silver.
