This is an antique gold, antique replica, of a very rare souvenir from Lourdes medal. Our Lady of Lourdes on a shamrock dangles from a 2x3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share with you. The backside has "souvenir nd de lourdes".
A gorgeous, unique piece with depth highlighted by the antiquing finish. The shamrock pendant is approximately 3/4 inch diameter.
The chain is 18 inches, but please contact me if you would prefer a different length chain.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. Excessive skin oils may darken the backside of the medal. It is also best to not wear gold bronze in water. A polishing cloth is included so the medal can be polished to the original appearance. You would not damage the medal by contact with water since it is solid gold bronze (not a plating), but it may darken and need additional polishing.
