This is a shiny sterling silver, antique replica, of a very special and rare St Michael medal signed both front and back by French artist Louis Tricard. Around the border has "Sancte Michael Ora Pro Nobis" which means "Saint Michael Pray for Us" in Latin.
This is a replica of a highly collectible, circa 1900, medallion signed by Louis-Victor Tricard, a renowned French engraver and medallist. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share it with you at a reasonable price.
This piece is .925 sterling silver and shiny. The details are more visible on the antiqued version of the medal (also shown in photos so detail is better viewed). However, some customers have requested a shiny sterling silver version. This medal is available only as the medal with bail attached (Holy Moments does not carry shiny sterling silver chains).

The medal is approximately 5/8 inch round. The Prayer to Saint Michael, shown in photos, is included in the gift box.
This fine replica is cast in solid .925 sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. There is not a sterling or .925 stamp because the piece is an identical copy of the original medal. The medal does test as sterling silver.
