Gorgeous and unusual antique gold French antique replica medal, Notre Dame du Rosaire PP (priez pour) Nous (Our Lady of the Rosary Pray for Us), dangles from this 2x3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure. The amazing details and depth are highlighted by the antiquing finishing technique.
I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share with you. The replica is prettier than the original!
This medal is a bit over 3/4 diameter.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. Excessive skin oils may darken the backside of the medal. It is also best to not wear gold bronze in water. A polishing cloth is included so the medal can be polished to the original appearance. You would not damage the medal by contact with water since it is solid gold bronze (not a plating), but it may darken and need additional polishing.
