Beautiful little art deco, antique replica, St Therese of Lisieux pendant by famous artist Ferdinand PY. St Theresa of the Child Jesus is carrying a crucifix, rosary and rose. The border is edged by raised roses. Gorgeous depth to this piece with all of the details raised from the background. This is a replica of a rare original that I am blessed to have in my collection.
This dangles on a delicate gold plated cable chain with rectangular 3x1.5mm links. The cut of the links is very pretty and allows some light to reflect. The circle pendant has a fixed bail. The medal is available without the chain, but the *hole on the bail is small* so some chains (and especially chain ends) will not fit through. The circle portion is 5/8 inch diameter, but with the fixed bail, the pendant is 7/8 inch high.
This replica is solid pewter plated with 12K gold, and then antiqued. This is a very high quality plating, but it is recommended to keep plated items away from water and perfume. This pewter is lead and cadmium free. No polishing or maintenance needed! These 12K gold plated pieces are a different casting process than my solid gold bronze pieces which require polishing. This pendant never needs polishing, but is plated. Made in the U.S.A.
