This is a solid bronze antique replica of a very rare St. Theresa of the Child Jesus (St Therese of Lisieux) medal from France. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share with you.

The most unusual aspect is the gorgeous rose textured background behind St. Therese. The oxidation and antiquing process highlights these gorgeous details.

On the front, in French, is "Sancta Teresia a Jesu Infante" meaning "St. Theresa of the Child Jesus".

On the backside, in French, is "Je veux passer mon ciel a faire du bien sur la terre" meaning "I want to spend my heaven doing good on earth".

This is signed by French artist "Lasserre" at the very bottom under St. Therese, but is very difficult to read.

The 2x3mm cable chain has a lobster clasp closure and the medal is 1 inch round. Please contact me if you would prefer a different length chain.

This fine replica is cast in solid bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A.

This medal is available in sterling silver, bronze and antique gold. Please see this link to view options. https://www.etsy.com/shop/HolyMomentsDotCom?search_query=french+therese

A Holy Moments® Artisan piece.

Thank you for visiting my Holy Moments Etsy Shop!  This has been my personal shopping account on Etsy for years. I recently decided to open an Etsy shop and display a selection of products from my established Holy Moments on-line and show company (HolyMoments.com).

The artisan jewelry and rosaries are unique to Holy Moments.  Many pieces are only a few of a kind due to limited availability of certain gemstones or hand cast items.  New, exciting products are always being added to both the Etsy shop and company website.

A portion of profits are donated to the Cancer Research Institute in New York, a leader in immunotherapy research.  Please read my shop story for more.
