The neatest bronze antique replica Saint Christopher Medal dangles from a 2x3mm cable chain. A lobster clasp closure completes the piece. The medal is in the shape of a shamrock (clover) and has "St. Christopher Protect Us" on the backside. Beautiful depth and oxidation on this piece!
St. Christopher is known as the patron saint of travelers. He was one of the "Fourteen Holy Helpers" and was born with the name "Reprobus". The name Christopher means "Christ bearer" and was given to him by Jesus after carrying the Child Jesus across a river.
This fine replica is cast in solid bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A.
