Absolutely gorgeous shiny gold bronze, antique replica, of a very special and unusual Saint Dymphna medal. This piece looks like carat gold and is so much prettier in person since Holy Moments has limited photography capabilities! I am blessed to have this medallion in my collection and be able to share this replica with you.
The medal is approximately 5/8 inch round and has beautiful depth to the design. The prayer card shown in photos is included in the gift box. The piece is available by itself (with a ring), or on a 4x3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure.
Saint Dymphna is the patroness of those suffering nervous and mental afflictions as well as victims of incest. This includes the mental afflictions of Dementia and Alzheimer's.
This fine replica is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method, highly polished, and produced in the U.S.A. Gold bronze looks like carat gold, but does require polishing using a cloth, more or less depending on usage, such as wearing in water. With polishing, it will stay shiny gold since this piece is solid (not plated). A polishing cloth is included. The chain is gold plated.
