This is an antique gold plated, antique replica, of a rare St George medal by the artist Antaya. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share with you. The depth of the medal with the antiquing finishing process is gorgeous!
The medal is available by itself (on the jump ring) or on a 2x3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure. Please message me if you would prefer a different length than listed.
Saint George is depicted wearing armor, holding a lance, and fighting a dragon, which represents Christ's enemies.
A gorgeous, unique piece that measures approximately 7/8 inch diameter. This replica is solid pewter plated with 12K gold, and then antiqued. This is a very high quality plating, but it is recommended to keep plated items away from water and perfume. The pewter is lead and cadmium free. No polishing or maintenance needed! These 12K gold plated pieces are a different casting process than my solid gold bronze pieces which require polishing. This pendant never needs polishing, but is plated. Made in the U.S.A.
The sterling stamp on the back is from the original antique-this replica is 12K gold plated pewter.
