Beautiful antique replica, antique gold, Jerusalem cross dangles on this 3.65mm antique gold rolo chain.
The Jerusalem Cross is also referred to as a five-fold cross, cross-and-crosslets, heraldic cross, Christian cross and Crusader's Cross.
It is said that this cross represents the Five Wounds of Christ.
It is also the flag of the Country of Georgia where it is said to symbolize Jesus Christ the Savior and the four evangelists.
The necklace is 22 inches long and the cross is 7/8 inch high. Please message me if you would prefer a different length chain.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. Excessive skin oils may darken the backside of the medal. It is also best to not wear gold bronze in water. A polishing cloth is included so the medal can be polished to the original appearance. You would not damage the medal by contact with water since it is solid gold bronze (not a plating), but it may darken and need additional polishing.
