Gorgeous gold antique replica, of a Mother Mary and Baby Jesus pendant by the French artist Elie Pellegrin. This piece is on the smaller side for Elie Pellegrin designs, and has a similar front design to a larger round piece. This is an unsigned solid gold bronze piece that is highly polished so that it appears shiny gold. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share this replica with you.
Mother Mary, Baby Jesus, the Fleur de Lis and the dots are all raised to show better detail. There is also a texture to the middle area of the surface which all adds incredible beauty to this piece!
The 7/8 inch medal may be purchased separately or dangling on a 4x3mm cable chain necklace with a lobster clasp closure. The bail (or loop to hang on a chain) is fixed and attached to this piece. The 28 inch and 30 inch lengths are infinity chains (no clasp). Please message me if you would prefer to have a clasp.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. Solid gold bronze does require periodic polishing with a cloth (more or less depending on things like lotions, chemicals and water), but will stay shiny gold. A polishing cloth is included.
